Shine On was asked to assess the lighting in their various facilities, including a large factory, offices and the exterior space. One of the core values of K.W. Doggett is sustainability and their main objective was to reduce unnecessary energy consumption, whilst also lowering maintenance costs and the OH&S implications of continuously replacing blown highbays.
Using a combination of LED tubes, downlights, panels, floodlights, canopies, recessed circulars and highbays, we were able to dramatically reduce their lighting consumption and power costs by an impressive 70%. This equated to a five year energy cost saving of over $245,000 while also reducing maintenance costs from frequently blown lights.
