Exciting news. Today we released our new flat panel LED light, the Omera Mark II. The Omera Mark II includes a number of enhancements over our previous panel, with the key change being a shift from backlit to flat panel construction. This major development optimises the light distribution with no spots and shadowing and reduces glare with a market-leading Unified Glare Rating (UGR) of 14 to 15.
In addition, the Omera Mark II is available with three different mounting options:
- Surface mounted –mounted directly on to a ceiling for ease of installation.
- Plaster mounted – mounted in the ceiling for a streamlined modern look.
- Suspended mounted – available as both Y-wire or I-wire options for higher ceilings.

Why choose the Omera Mark II panel?
We are really proud of the latest generation, smooth light glide plate which has produced its uniform light distribution and low UGR. For an office environment, its particularly important to reduce glare which can cause strain on the eyes and contribute to headaches and it is recommended to have a UGR of under 20. A quality panel light you’ll find today has a UGR of around 17-19 so the Omera Mark II is a considerable improvement.
In terms of energy usage and output the Omera Mark II far outshines its competition. The Omera Mark II outputs up to 3,387 lumens at a very low 27 watts. That’s an efficacy of 125 lumens per watt, which is up to 33% more efficient than the competition. You cannot find a better or more flexible LED panel on the market.
