How we can help your education site
We know what it takes to improve the energy efficiency of education sites, while improving the working environment for students and staff. The table to the right outlines the common lighting issues we see in educational sites and how we can help overcome these with market-leading LEDs.
The main obstacles with solar is the size of the schools roof, the material it is made from and the shading from surrounding trees and structures. We consider all these aspects during the design phase.

| Low light levels due to blown bulbs or internal reconfiguration of walls | All new fittings will fix the low light levels and they are covered by a warranty of at least five years. |
| Flickering tubes/globes | We use flicker-free drivers in our products and rewire ballasts out when changing tubes |
| Lights left on when the room is not in use | Installing motion sensors will result in lights being on when rooms are occupied and off when not |
| Funding is tight | School friendly leasing arrangements have the savings pay for themselves. |
| The school is occupied by students | Installations take place during the school holidays and all of our staff that visit schools have had Working with Children checks |

Education panel memberships
We are on a number of government procurement panels for upgrading and installing LED lighting and solar at public schools in Victoria, NSW and South Australia. We are also a panel member for Catholic Schools NSW.
