How does it work?
Energy Saving Certificates (ESCs) are generated through the reduction in energy use and liable parties such as electricity retailers buy the ESCs. One ESC is equivalent to one carbon tonne of carbon abated and targets have been set until 2025.
What does this mean for you?
Customers can receive a subsidy worth up to 80% off the total cost of product and installation depending on the going ESC rate and the type of initiative/s undertaken.
