Home Energy Efficiency Retrofits Scheme

The HEER scheme is delivered as part of the ESS to further help NSW households and small businesses save energy by supporting LED lighting upgrades, amongst other initiatives. It is legislated until 2025.

Who is eligible for the HEER scheme?

Any business located in NSW that meets the following criteria:

Your site is occupied by only one business
You consume less than 100MWh of electricity per year (includes onsite generation, if applicable).

What products can be upgraded to LED as part of the scheme?

Halogen downlights
Linear halogen floodlights
Parabolic aluminised reflector (PAR) lamp
T5 or T8 luminaires
